Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Account Executive during the entire project completion process
- Help develop project proposals, utilizing technical lead and additional internal resources as needed
- Maintain primary communication with the client regarding the development, creation and completion of a project, includes information gathered through participation in the concept analysis and creation of the specification document
- Provide and facilitate regular (minimum weekly) updates to Client, Managers, Leads and Account Executives as needed
- Focus of all efforts is to insure successful project coordination and completion via the following tasks:
- Define and determine milestones which reflect a realistic completion date for each deliverable and also trigger the next phase of production
- In concert with Manager and Production Manager, identify and assemble the internal team, notify legal for contract development
- Conduct weekly internal team meetings as needed in order to hold project to budget, defined business goals and established time lines
- Monitor and regulate potential/real deviations in project scope
- Organize and attend all practices and meetings
- Keep client up to date regarding cost of time and materials
- Inform Accounts Receivable when invoices are to be sent based on milestone achievement
- Review project tracking sheets to ensure that project is on time and on budget in terms of client request and BX.COM work flow
Qualifications
- Two years experience with Web development projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good organizational abilities
- Must be able to motivate team and educate client while keeping a firm focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to identify issues before they become problems, anticipate client expectations, controlling/monitoring project scope and identifying when additional billing may be appropriate
- Effective organization and prioritization of work flow and schedules
- Good understanding of business principles, clients’ business rules, goals and needs
